    Small bug with options / positions tab

    Hi,

    I've been dipping my toe with options via Ninja (via ib), since you got it all working in last version. Yesterday, I noticed a small bug.

    To reproduce

    Day 1, sell 2 puts, of say, spy 200 put
    Day 2, sell 1 put of SAME strike

    Check positions tab. You will find you have the original day 1 qty listed as a position. Then, you have the day 2 sale listed as another position, with the size as day1+day2 So, the P&L's are accordingly wrong as are the position sizes. Not sure what happens if you hit close, but thinking you might end up with more filled than you wanted!

    I'd like to get some more information from you so we make sure to get the steps right to replicate this on our end.

    What version of TWS/ IB Gateway are you using?

    I'd like to take a look at your log and trace files for this issue. These files contain diagnostic information related to what is occurring on your platform that will help us resolve this issue in a timely manner.

    Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with "RE: 2463014" in the subject line and a link to this forum post in the message body so we may investigate this matter further.

    Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
    Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
    Once you have emailed these to us, you may delete these compressed folders.
