limit orders disappear from chart

    limit orders disappear from chart

    Hi,

    Everyone now and then, my limit orders disappear from my chart and I'm not able to know if I have a running limit order. How come it does that ?

    Is there a way to reflesh chart or at least make all orders reappear on the chart ?

    Thanks for your post.

    I suspect that you may not be viewing the desired account in the ChartTrader's "Account" dropdown menu. The chart in question will only show orders for the account selected in ChartTrader, and if the Sim101 account instead of your live account is selected, you'll only see orders for the Sim101 account on that chart.

      That's not what's happening with me. On a single chart, if I move a limit order, I get an error message and then the order disappears and the only way I get it to reappear is if I restart the platform. It does it on many different charts

        I'd like to take a look at your log and trace files for this issue. These files contain diagnostic information related to what is occurring on your platform that will help us resolve this issue in a timely manner.

        Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with "2471540 ATTN Marco G" in the subject line and a link to this forum post in the message body so I may investigate this matter further.

        Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
        Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
        Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
        Once you have emailed these to us, you may delete these compressed folders.
