Data provider: NinjaTrader Continuum
Steps to reproduce the problem:
- Disconnect from NinjaTrader Continuum.
- Go to Tools -> Historical Data and remove all Historical and Market Replay data.
- Close NinjaTrader platform.
- Go to <username>\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\db\cache\ and remove all folders from within cache.
At this point, the database should be clean.
- Start NinjaTrader platform.
- Connect to NinjaTrader Continuum.
- Create a new chart with the settings from Screenshot 1, the most important ones:
- Tick Replay ON
- Trading hours: CME US Index Futures RTH
- Change Trading hours to CME US Index Futures ETH and keep Tick Replay enabled, as Screenshot 2 shows.
- Change Trading hours back to CME US Index Futures RTH and you will get the data from Screenshot 3 (missing data above and below the current price action from today).
I had a problem with missing data, a few days ago, which I temporarily solved by cleaning up the database, as above (as per the advice I received). But, in this case, I really need to be able to switch between RTH and ETH with Tick Replay enabled, without having to clean up the database every single time.
