    Hello agazza,

    Thank you for posting.

The amount of Historical Data you have is dependent upon who your data provider is.

So I may accurately assist you, please answer all of the following questions:
    • What version of NinjaTrader are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.? or 8.0.?.?)
    • Who are you connected to? This is displayed in green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.
Thanks in advance; I look forward to your reply.

        Hello agazza,

        Thank you for your reply.

I tested Kinetick- End of Day data and was able to load a Monthly chart for the OMX Instrument as far back as 1996. To confirm, how many days of data are you loading? Please right click on your Chart and select Data Series. Under Days to load, how many days did you put? Does increasing that amount, then pressing OK allow you to see additional Historical data?

Thanks in advance; I look forward to the results of the test.

i had 8000, but i changed it to 1961 and it loads to 91, no problem, the problem is that it stops loading after 2016 and nothing after that. the end date is set to today 2020-04-01

            Hello agazza,

            Thank you for your reply.

My apologies for the initial misunderstanding.

It appears that I am getting the same on my end. It looks like this Instrument stopped recording data in the past, hence why we do not have any historical data past this date.

Please let me know if you require any additional assistance.

Yes, i can import a csv file from yahoo or nasdaq.com but i cant import it in ninjatrader, how should i convert it?

Because then i could import it and just leave my connection live 24/7 until its sorted i guess and save the data as historical data on the pc

                Hello agazza,

                Thank you for your reply.

Importing into NinjaTrader 8 requires .txt files. I have included a guide on importing Historical Data into NinjaTrader 8 below:
