NT8 New Listening Port ?

Hi,
I just noticed on my machine that NT8 starts listening on TCP port 4530 in addition to TCP port 36973. On the other hand, NT7 only used to listen on port 36973.

Can you please let me know what that additional port is being used for and if I should block that port on my firewall?

After further research, I've found that this port is expected to be used by NinjaTrader 8.

This port is used with intra-process communication. That port is a valid port and can be unrestricted for outbound on the local PC. This port does not have to be open on the external firewall for inbound.

You'll likely see other ports used by NinjaTrader 8 as well. A similar process does not exist in NinjaTrader 7, so this is why you see different/more ports in use for NinjaTrader 8.
