NT8 Feature Request-Horizontal Line

Request ability to enable label when using horizontal line drawing tool. Be great to show the text in the tag field above the line and to the right edge.

Here is a basic guideline of how to import NinjaScript add-ons in NinjaTrader 8:

Note — To import NinjaScripts you will need the original .zip file.

To Import:

• Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.
• From the Control Center window select the menu Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-on
• Select the downloaded .zip file
• NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.

Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

Once installed, you may add the indicator to a chart by:

• Right click your chart > indicators > Select the Indicator from the list on the left > New > OK

I'm looking for text. Like label ATH, LVN, etc.

To clarify, you want whatever is entered in the 'tag' property to show visually on the line?

I would prefer a separate field from the tag for text (like ATH, Weekly Low, etc.) that could be enabled and visible as a label. Top of horizontal line and right margin.

This is not possible by default, and I am unaware of any indicator on our forums which provides this functionality. This would be possible through custom NinjaScript programming.

At this point, you have three options:

• Program this yourself via custom NinjaScript
• Contact a third party vendor to find an add-on with this capability or have it programmed for you
• Submit a feature request to the Development Team to implement this capability natively.
