help creating this chart on ninja chart
I use this chart ive attached on investors RT and I would like to duplicate it on Ninja Trader 8, can someone please help me build this kind of chart, ES rotation chart is minimum 3 pts (12 ticks) on CL it is minimum 20 ticks. I have spent the last 2 hours trying to get it and I just cannot, I can't imagine this is impossible to build on NT8, I'm even willing to pay for the help thats how frustrated I am. I have attached a pic. Thank you.1 PhotoTags: None

Hello thetickfarmer,
It may be difficult to translate from a different platform.
But you can state what you are wanting we may be able to assist.
First, were you able to open an ES 06-20 chart or CL 05-20 chart?
Who are you connected to for data? (This will have a green dot by the connection name in the connections menu of the Control Center)
Below are links to the training videos to help you get started.

yes no problem opening an ES or CL chart, I have CQG and rithmic data. I am looking to create a chart like the one in the pictures, just showing the rotations of 3 pts or more on ES and 20 ticks or more on CL.

What are you referring to as rotations?
What is in the pictures?
Are you looking for the Range or Renko bar type?

Hello thetickfarmer,
Unfortunately, I don't know what is in the screenshot you have provided.
To me this looks like a chart that has Range bars and a CurrentDayOHL indicator.
NinjaTrader does not have an indicator included called Rotations and I'm seeing that any community members have uploaded one to the User App Share section of the NinjaTrader Ecosystem site.Chelsea B.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Rotations is just another name for Swing? You might want to search for Swing indicator. Can't point you to any but I know there are plenty, probably one that suits your purpose somewhere

now't wrong with calling them Rotations, just Swing may be more fruitful in your search. Good luck

It looks to me like a 1x3 point and figure chart of tick prices.Last edited by caveat_lector; 04-12-2020, 07:39 AM.

#thetickfaremer I happened to be rummaging around in my Ninja Downloads folder where I stumbled upon the attached which you may find of interest. I expect there will be a more recent version out there, but at least you know what to search for. 'Better.....' is the name given to a group of indicators 'BetterAutoScale' etcAttached Files
