    I also see that message late Friday evenings or on Saturdays -- Continuum folks are probably
    doing server maintenance, so every one's connection becomes disconnected when this happens.

    If you have NinjaTrader installed on two different PCs, say, a desktop and laptop,
    and if your desktop is currently connected to Continuum, then if later you open your
    laptop and start NinjaTrader and connect to Continuum, your desktop would receive
    that message.

    It is the connection process on the laptop that caused the desktop to automatically
    become disconnected. This message on the desktop is a by-product of the connection
    activity performed on the laptop.

    This happens even if you're using a combination of NT7 and NT8 (say, NT7 on
    laptop and NT8 on the desktop, or vice versa) -- there can only be one connection
    using your Continuum credentials, which ever running instance of NinjaTrader.exe
    makes the connection forces all previous connections (on same or other PCs) to
    automatically disconnect.

    What, same PC? Yep.
    This message can also happen when running NT7 and NT8 simultaneously on the
    same PC -- it's fine to run them both at the same time, but you can only trade from
    the same account with one of them, because you are only allowed one Continuum
    account connection per same account credentials.

    EDIT: A Multi-Broker license does not change this limitation.

    EDIT-2: Saying "you are only allowed one Continuum account connection per same
    account credentials
    " is accurate, but may leave the wrong impression. There is
    another restriction that goes like this, "each running instance of NinjaTrader.exe
    can only connect to one Continuum account". That is, multiple account credentials
    does not allow multiple Continuum connections. And, like before, the Multi-Broker
    license does not change this limitation.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

    This error usually indicates lost and quickly restored connection. A restart may be required to reestablish the connection.

    The first thing I would recommend doing is shutting down NinjaTrader and restarting your modem/router.

    If you have an antivirus/firewall installed you will want to add NinjaTrader to its exceptions list.
