    Live Data feed for demo Account

    Hello,

    I have downloaded the Free Demo Account. I want to get live DATA feed. What is the best way forward as I am no professional trader.
    Can I keep demo platform and subscribe to KineTick and receive DATA or Do I Need to purchase licence?

    I need Live Data for Charting Only (as I use another broker to place trade).

    Thank you for your post.


    The demos will last for around 2-3 weeks. A License Key does not provide data and would only enable your platform to trade live with a supported brokerage.


    After the demo expires, you will either want to fund an account with a supported brokerage or use a data-feed only provider such as Kinetick which starts out at $65/month to receive live data.

      Hello,
      I signed with FXCM for forex demo account and received login info for NT.
      I have already NT7 installed on my computer , version 1000.40(live).I am trading futures.

      When I try to create a new connections and select data provider I can see that Ninja Trader FXCM is missing.

      How can I get Ninja Trader FXCM as my forex data provider?Thank you.

          This morning, while changing the demo account with new credentials, my instruments don't upload live datas.

          What should I do? I'm using CQG demo credentials

                I'd like to take a look at your log and trace files for this issue. These files contain diagnostic information related to what is occurring on your platform that will help us resolve this issue in a timely manner.

                Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with "2736074 ATTN Marco G" in the subject line and a link to this forum post in the message body so I may investigate this matter further.

                Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
                Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
                Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
                Once you have emailed these to us, you may delete these compressed folders.

                    Thank you for the update.


                    Rather than manually attaching your log and trace files, you may send them directly from the platform by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support

                    Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

                    Please reference the following ticket number in the body of the email: "2736074 ATTN Emily"
