Impossible to edit Chart Trader Buttons Background

    Hello,

I'm building a custom skin based on Solarized color scheme and I'm pretty happy about it except for one thing:

How to change the color of Chart Trader buttons background (Buy Mkt, Buy Ask, Rev, Close, ...) ? (see screenshot below)

My current color is #2D2D2F, I don't have it in "BluePrint.xaml" file.

I've found this color in "ChartControl.xaml" but despite any color change in this file I can't see any update on NT8.

Any ideas ?? Thanks a lot

    Hello beobast,

This is one situation where you need to use the other files in the skins folder, specifically the ChartControl file. There is the ChartTrader.ButtonBackground and other button related colors in there. The ActionButtonsBackground does the Rev/Close buttons and the Buy and Sell have separate styles. The same goes for the other files, depending on the window it may have its own specific skin. Just as a note, to find this I did a replace all in each file for the color #2D2D2F to #FF6600 (orange) which helped track down the file this style was in.

I look forward to being of further assistance.

      Hello Jesse,

Thank you for your quick answer !

I saw the "ChartControl.xaml" file and I tried to change the colors of 'ButtonBackground', 'ActionButtonsBackground', 'BuyButtonsBackground' and 'SellButtonsBackground' but it does not work for me !

Does it work for you ?

I noticed it works with "FxPro.xaml" file but not for "ChartControl.xaml", it might be a bug ?

        Hello beobast,

Yes that worked for me. I am not certain what would cause that to not work for you, have you tried copying one of the skins into a new folder for your own skin and then using that? You are also restarting in between edits correct?

I look forward to being of further assistance.

          Hello Jesse,

I've found why it didn't work for me: it was somehow related to my existing chart template (it was overwritingt hese colors values I guess).

Anyway I don't really know what happened exactly but I created a new chart and everything worked as expected !

          Thanks a lot !
