Is this software terribly unstable?

Just built a new machine running windows pro 64 and installed ninjatrader 8.0.21.1. I'm constantly having issues. When running optimizer, my system freezes. When adding properties to a strategy they don't show up in optimizer as a dropdown until I restart ninjatrader. Back testing will give me a single trade result, and then the appropriate 600 trade result after i restart ninjatrader and sometime my machine itself.

Its using a fair amount of my processor but its not doing anything.

That wouldn't be expected behavior, certainly.

Do you see any errors on the Log tab of the Control Center when this occurs? If so, what is the text of the error?

If you test with the built in Sample MA CrossOver strategy, do you get results?
