Retrieving saved workspace
I am new and trying to figure out how to get my saved workspace to activate. I start a new chart, work it, save it as a workspace when I shut it down, and then when I go to turn it all back on, the workspace is there but doesn't open a chart when I click on it. What am I doing wrong?Tags: None

Hello colecorbyn,
Thank you for your post.
The most common reason users lose charts or charts are not saved is because they are being closed before saving and exiting the program. Charts need to be left open and not closed before saving and exiting the program. You will want to never close a chart if you intend on saving it, and only exit the platform from the Control Center and selecting Yes to save your workspace when exiting. When you launch NinjaTrader again, your saved windows should appear automatically if they weren't closed.
The workspace is every visible or open window in NinjaTrader. When you hover over the NinjaTrader icon in the taskbar, and you see all the other windows in the taskbar, you are seeing all the windows of your workspace.
I have included a link to our help guide on managing workspaces.
