    Dragging Chart Limit Orders

is there a way with chart trader to be able to drag the limit orders?

currently you can partially drag it, meaning you drag it but then you need to click somewhere to release it.

is there something i can check so that it can just be dragged and when released end up in the new position? without any extra clicking?

The method of modifying an order on a chart is 'click and click' not 'click and drag'. Click once to pick up the order then click again to set it back down. Here is a link with more information on order modification on a chart:There is no way to modify orders from a chart with less than two clicks.

Can this be done as a feature request? It would be much faster when scalping. Perhaps it has been requested before?

It is unlikely that such a fundamental change would be implemented to NinjaTrader as click-and-click is a core concept of the entire NinjaTrader platform so this change would need to be applied universally for consistency.

You could also give the customer an option of which one to use- such as implementing a simple 'check-box' that would let you enable/disable this feature.
For scalping- it slows down the process when needing to make an immediate change to targets or stops. Since trading is an extremely individualized experience.
