Easy roll over explained for once and for all.

Can somebody answer my question about roll over into the next future contract?
It is very simple to roll over the charts, that is explained everywhere on the forum and on the web, tons of video's about this. But never i have seen a video with 1 or more contracts long or short.
I have asked the support, and they tell me that i have to fysically sell the contract from the current chart. Then roll over the chart to the new month, and then buy another contract into this new chart.
As for me this has nothing to do with roll-over. It is just another contract.
Is there a way to do this proper as told by CME, hold the contract into the next month?

And the prices differ from the current into the next, How to solve this with minimal losses?

    Kind regards,
    George.

My colleagues you've previously spoken with are correct. There is no way to have a contract held on one contract be applied to another contract. For example, the difference between ES 06-20 and ES 09-20 is effectively as different as AAPL and MSFT. You'll need to close a position in the current contract and open a position in the next contract.

If it is your intention to hold a contract past the expiration date, then you should consider holding a position in a contract with an expiration date further in the future. For example, if you do not plan on exiting your ES position until sometime in December, you could open a position now in the ES 12-20 contract. This would allow you to hold the position until that contract expires (December 18th 2020).
