    indicators disappearing

    The indicators on my charts sometimes disappear on closing and reopening NT8. I've had the problem for months (years?) and it seems to happen intermittently and without pattern.
    I can't see anything reported in the log, is there a way of tracing the problem please?

    Is there any chance your NT is always outdated? I know that's a silly question, but it's hard to tell unless you're manually following up.
    If your NT is up to date, are you indicators up to date?
    I've had to drop a few 'favorites' with last few months updates. Some dont' run as smooth, some take up more processing power than they should, some don't work, and others simply flash on/off faster than flash himself.

      Hello Bend70,

      I would expect the workspace to restore as it was last saved.

      Are there any errors in the Log tab of the Control Center that appear when opening the workspace?
      (It might be the indicators are having errors and cannot load)

      What version of NinjaTrader 8 are you using? (Help > About e.g. 8.0.X.X)

      Can you reproduce this with the system indicators included with NinjaTrader or only custom or 3rd party scripts?

      Are the charts being removed from the workspace or only the indicators?

      Are all of the indicators being removed from the charts or only some indicators?

        My version is 8.0.15.1 64-bit
        I don't see any errors in the log tab
        I have fairly basic charts, but do sometimes run third party indicators to display bar numbers and a 60min EMA on a 5min chart. I'm not sure if the problem occurs without these indicators, but can try to track it
        Only the indicators are removed, the workspace remains fine
        All the indicators are removed, including basic EMA etc

        Last time I had the problem I exited the platform without saving, restarted immediately and the indicators were loaded perfectly on the second restart

        When the indicators had all disappeared, and I tried to add them again, the grid lines disappeared as the indicators reappeared

        Would love to be more specific, but it is an intermittent problem, sorry!
