Market Analyzer Alert

hello,
can i set alert on every bar close. for example
if stochastic D value is above 70 then i should get alert.
But i want that on everybar close if stochastic D value is above 70 then it should give alert, how can i set this alert?

Thanks for posting.

This would be done by setting the alert to rearm on bar close and the indicator to calculate on bar close. I've provided a screenshot below showing how this would be set up:

In this case, as long as the Stochastics indicator is also set to calculate on bar close, then the alert will only trigger when a new bar is created and the alert condition is also true. If the indicator is set to calculate on price change or on each tick, then the alert will usually trigger intra-bar since its values are constantly being updated.

Yes, your settings appear to be correct for both alerts to function the way you want. A good way to test things like this is to use the Simulated Data Feed, since this will allow you to use the Trend slider to control the direction of price movement:

I am sorry to say but it doesn't give an alert on every closed bar under stoch 30 value.
I am using True Data live data feed.

This may be done by creating an alert condition that you know will always be true, for example checking that the last traded price is great than zero.
