European ETF

Hi @all

I'm trying to configure ETF's outside the US, e.g EUN1, which will be traded at AEB Exchange. Interactive Brokers shows me IBIS2 too... but configure it with AEB only it will not work...

Any ideas or existing threads where this problem will be discussed?

If so, I see that the primary exchange is listed as 'IBIS2' which I do not see as being available in the exchange list when configuring an instrument in NinjaTrader. We may not be able to create a custom instrument to an exchange that isn't supported natively, but let's try a few different things.

Can you post screenshots of your exact symbol mapping for these symbols from within NinjaTrader? I need to see what you've entered for the General and Misc tabs.

Hi Patrick, right... that's the symbol...
My settings are:
Euro, Exchange AEB, Trading hours German Equities, Symbol mapping IB EUN1, nothing else...

Sorry this thread is in NT7 but I'm using NT8 so far....

I was able to get this to work I think, however, I can't verify because the IB account i have access to does not have data subscriptions for this instrument:

Please try my mapping, however, before editing the instrument make sure to disconnect from IB. Edit the instrument, then reconnect and test.

What messages are you getting when you attempt to chart the instrument you created?

Were you disconnected from Interactive Brokers when you made the changes?

Does the same message appear after a restart?
