    lost Interactive Brokers "availablity" under conenctions

    Since subscribing to Kinetick data (which seems to kind of half working) I've now lost all conenctio0n to IB - it' not even in the list of available connections anymore? The guys at Kinetick support are useless and don't seem to understand .... so I come here.

    This sounds like possibly a license key issue. Rather than have you post that on the forums, please email our support team by going to Help > Email to Support. In the subject line, please put 2535399 ATTN Kate W. Please leave the box to send log and trace files checked - this will be checked by default.

    In the body of the email, please put your current license key. This can be found under Help > License Key.

      the platform hung when trying to email you from within, so I had to froce close it. On reopneing, the connection to IB was magically back.

        Thank you for your reply.

        My guess is that NinjaTrader was temporarily unable to reach its licensing servers and restricted your connection options based on that. If you look under the Log tab of the Control Center, do you see any messages from today regarding license servers?

            That was it, then. If it recurs, try restarting NinjaTrader to have it retry the license check.
