    FXCM account control

    Hi,

    I set up an FXCM demo account and got connected to that on NT8. I'm getting the data feed which is fine.

    When I look at the accounts to trade, I see my SIM101 account. When I open a trade, it trades for that SIM101 account. My question is; how do I actually open trades in that FXCM demo account which FXCM opened for me?

    To be able to trade an account other than the Sim101 account you will need a Live license key.

      Hi Christopher,

      I bought lifetime licence this week, I applied the licence key, the platform still doesn't allow me to add accounts, "add account" is greyed out. Could you please advise how to add that FXCM demo account?

        Thank you for your note.

        Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with "ATTN CHRIS S 2086511" in the subject line so I may investigate this matter further.
        • Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
        • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
        • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
        • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
