Newb question re. live trading & options trading

I've downloaded and installed NinjaTrader 8. Connected to NinjaTrader Continuum Demo feed and to my TD Ameritrade account.

Q1. Can I do live trades on my TD Ameritrade account? I'm assuming I can but only after I pay for the platform.
Q2. When I open Option Chain I do get the bid, ask, last etc. but no option chains listed. I've tried ES 06-20 & AAPL. Is this a limitation in the demo mode?

On Windows 10, NinjaTrader 8 64-bit, 8GB RAM.

Thank you for your post.

1) You will be able to use the NinjaTrader platform to trade stocks with TD Ameritrade. The ability to place live trades will be available once you purchase or lease a live license key.

2) The interface between NinjaTrader and TD Ameritrade only supports stock trading. This is why you are not able to receive data for futures or options. If you are interested in trading futures, along with options on futures, then you can contact the NinjaTrader Brokerage team for more information about opening an account:

I can't connect to my TD Ameritrade account. I get an error message--Unable to log in, "error" "invalid grant"

Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with "ATTN CHRIS S
2553252" in the subject line so I may investigate this matter further.

• Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
• Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
• Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
• Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
