      good evening !! I can't install the ninja trader 8 platform. The following message appears:
      "Ninja Trader 8 setup wizard ended prematurely because of an error. You system has been modified. To install this program at a later time, run setup wizard again. Click the finish button to exit the setup wizard.


      how to solve this problem ??

        Thank you for your post.

        Glad to assist. I suggest running the below, publicly available Fix It utility by Microsoft. This program is able to look into many Windows items that may be stopping the installation, first use it to Uninstall NinjaTrader.
        The Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter helps you automatically repair issues when you're blocked from installing or removing programs.


        Then, Once these steps are completed, download and install NinjaTrader from the link below using our simulation key.

        If you receive an error message when attempting to install, please let us know what it reports.

          good morning, even following the instructions above the error persists when trying to install ninja trader 8:
          ninja tradre 8 setup wizard ended prematurely because of an error. your system has not been modified. to install this program at a later, run setup wizard again. click the finish button to exit the setup wizard.

            Thank you for your note.

            This likely means that the installer is being blocked by a program on your computer. Likely due to an antivirus or antimalware setting.

            Recent windows updates have automatically enabled 'Controlled Folder Access' in Windows Defender. If this is enabled, you may experience errors when NinjaTrader attempts to write to or create a new file/folder but does not have permission to do so.

            To disable this setting follow the instructions below:
            • From your Windows desktop, select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection.
            • Under Virus & threat protection settings, select Manage settings.
            • Under Controlled folder access, select Manage Controlled folder access.
            • Switch the Controlled folder access setting to Off.
            • Restart NinjaTrader and test
