thinking about NT with IB, a few questions

    hello everyone,
looking for input on NT with IB. I am not new to platforms thats for sure.
    my questions
    1. Quality of connection / executions?
    2. reliability of the Data feed?
    3. any issues with connecting to IB?

IB lacks a lot in charting with not letting in 3rd party indicators/code etc. no volume profile hot keys are very limited. Ive used esignal in the past which i love just wondering how NT compares to something like Esignal with performance and IB functionality.... thank you in advance for any responses.

You can read more about the capabilities of the Interactive Brokers connection to NinjaTrader (as well as our other supported providers) at the link below:Keep in mind that NinjaTrader is always free until you want to trade live. I highly encourage you to download NinjaTrader and test out the Interactive Brokers feed in simulation if you have not done so already. The following link will take you to a page that details the steps required for creating a connection to Interactive Brokers as well as specific connection configuration information:I also encourage other Interactive Brokers users to provide their experience as well.

All snapshot data, from anyone, is useless for precision day-trading. For all other kinds of trading, snapshot data is just fine.

IB sends snapshot data. If your trading needs a raw data feed, look elsewhere.
