EMA Alert

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to create an alert when a stochastic cross over takes place below the ema in a bearish market and above the ema in a bullish market.

I've figure out the stochastic bit, but cannot seem to figure out how to set up the alert with the EMA.

Any Ideas?

I'm sorry, I think I need some assistance firstly with the stochastic indicator. I'm looking to get an alter when the K line crosses into the 20 or 80 zones.

Is it possible to create an alert?

Thank you for the post and your patience.

You may achieve this by setting the alet conditions to 'If any' of the following conditions are met:



The first condition would look like this, making the alert trigger when the Stochastics K Indicator Plot crosses above the numerical value of '20.'



The second condition would look like this, making the alert trigger when the Stochastics K Indicator Plot crosses below the numerical value of '80':

Ok thanks, thats all working.

Now I want the alert only to get triggered if this crossover is below the 500 ema.

Therefore how do I set up an alert that only triggers when there is a stochastic 80 cross over below the 500 ema? And the opposite, a 20 stoch crossover above the 500 ema?

sorry, I've noticed that last message is a bit ambiguous.

I want alerts when the stochastic crossover takes place above (long) the 500 ema, and below (short) the 500 ema.

How do I set this up?

I was looking into these alert parameters and wanted to clarify one point.

You mentioned 'hen there is a stochastic 80 cross over below the 500 ema.'

The stochastic indicator is on a much different scale than the EMA; are you saying you would like this to trigger if the EMA is above or below the current market price?

essentially I want a notification if there's a stochastic crossover in the 80-100 space below the 500 ema or a notification of a crossover in the 0-20 area when it happens above the 500 ema.
