    Commission feature

    i may be interested in adding a commission to the control panel ... since the control panel is showing an incorrect amount ... when i do not even have a template set up ...

      hi ..melissa ...

      thanks for the response ... my broker is Global Futures / Amp is the clearing .... and CQG is the data feed

      the first line ... is the simulated
      the second line is my live account showing the commission inaccuracy

        Hello,

        Thanks for the reply.

        If you right-click on your live account in the Control Center and select 'Edit Account' do you have anything configured in 'Commissions?'

            Hello,

            Thank you for the reply.

            We advise that you use the instructions below to reset the NinjaTrader database.
            • Disconnect NinjaTrader from any open connections via Connections > Disconnect
            • From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Database Management
            • Press "Reset DB"
            • Check Historical Orders to remove historical orders
            • Check Historical Trades to remove historical trades
            • Press the "Reset" button

                ok ... i followed your suggestions & even toggled off the "total commission" tab in the properties section of the control center .... & still have the same issue ... the commission is still showing

                update ... i also went into the "UPDATE COMMISSIONS TEMPLATE" section --- and UPDATED that ... to no avail

                  Thank you for the update.

                  Have you confirmed with your broker and your account statement the commissions taken out?

                  If so, please send me your log and trace files so that I may look into what occurred.

                  You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support

                  Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

                  Please reference the following ticket number in the body of the email: 2567382 ATTN Melissa

                      Hello,
                      Thank you for the reply.


                      Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an Email to [email protected] so I may investigate this matter further.

                      Please reference the following ticket number in the body of the email: 2567382 ATTN Melissa
                      • Open your NinjaTrader folder under, "Documents" (sometimes called, "My Documents")
                      • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
                      • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
                      • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

                        ok ... but i didnt see 2 compressed files .... only 1

                          this morning ... when starting the program ... the same commission figure showed ... without taking a trade ... as per your suggestion about removing the "live" account ... and recreating a new "live" account ... i just finished doing that ....

                          upon starting the program on the newly created "live" account ... the same commission figure appears ... furthermore ... when i uncheck the total commissions tab in the control center ... the inaccurate figure shows up in my "total PnL" column
