Full Stochastics

Hello. If I wanted a Full Stochastics (10,6,6), how do I set this in the Stochastics indicator (which I am assuming is the Full Stochastics) in NT8? I am confused with 'Plot', 'Period D', 'Period K' and 'Smooth'. Which one should be 10, 6, and 6, and do I select D or K in the 'Plot' field? I have attached an image of the default settings of the Stocjhastics indicator in NT8. Thank you

The Stochastics Oscillator is made up of two lines that oscillate between a vertical scale of 0 to 100. the %K is the main line and it is drawn as a solid line. The second is the %D line and is a moving average of %K. The %D line is drawn as a dotted line.

In NinjaTrader, the values are listed from left to right as %D, %K, and smooth. I would suspect you would want to put 10, 6, 6 in those fields in that order to accomplish what you're looking for.

I am not sure what you're referring to when you say "plot". Do you mean the plot section of the indicator properties? This is where you would define the line color and type for those plots.

Thank you for your reply. The 'Plot' I am referring is the second item under the indicator property where you have the option of selecting D or K (please refer to the image I attached to my first post). Thank you

'Plot' property determines which line will be displayed when you apply the indicator to a window other than a chart.
