    No playback control

    So I've been playing back my days for 2 months and today the playback control popup is missing. Any Ideas? Is it down?

    Hello madhouse,

    Thank you for your post.

    Please troubleshoot by starting with a new, blank workspace. To start with a blank workspace, please take the following steps to force NinjaTrader to start without your saved workspace. You will have the option to reopen these after our tests.
    • Shut down NinjaTrader
    • Navigate to (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 8\workspaces
    • Cut and paste all the files within this folder onto your desktop
    • Restart NinjaTrader which should startup without any workspaces.
    • Once NinjaTrader has started on just the control center, please connect to the Playback connection and test for the issue.
    If there are no issues on this new workspace, please try opening the previous workspace by exiting NinjaTrader and moving the files from your Desktop back into the 'workspaces' folder.


    Please let us know if you continue to see the same behavior.

        Now I get the following Error Message. "An Unspecified Error Has Occurred, Please Contact Support Desk (Login failed)"

          So my other computer has the playback control but gets the same error message trying to login.

            Thank you for your post.

            The behavior you are experiencing is due to data servers undergoing maintenance at this time. Maintenance will be finished before the markets open Sunday afternoon so that you can connect to your account again. Weekend maintenance is infrequent but expected.

              Account is back up but still no playback control. Tried repair option on reinstall but still nothing. Don't think it's the maint issue. Any other ideas?

                Hello,

                If you shutdown NT and go do Documents/NinjaTrader and delete the UI.xml file, does the issue persist?
