Free Forex Data cannot configure in NT8, there is no "ninjatrader" Connection type

Got my username and password for the Ninjatrader Forex data trial, but when i go to your link for the connection guide, there is no "NinjaTrader" for connection type.


I am using NT8. I have a multi broker license key installed

Please help.

Thanks for writing in today.

I suspect you may not be on the most recent update of NinjaTrader. As a first troubleshooter, please upgrade.


To update NinjaTrader, please follow the steps below:

• First, copy your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader
• Click on the link: http://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
• Enter your license key and press Submit
• Select 'NinjaTrader 8'
• Select 'Download'
• Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.

Please let me know if this does not populate the NinjaTrader connection type in this Provider section.

Hello, I did that, so behold, I have a password. However, my problem isnt that i dont have a password, if you kindly read carefully, and kindly look at the posts, you will see the issue is that I dont have a "ninjatrader" option for the forex data feed. Its not a question of a password, its that i dont have the option to connect to that the setupguide is asking for. Please kindly read what i have worked on to post. Thank you.
