    Multiple Selection and Filtering in Strategy Analyzer Log

    Currently, the Strategy Analyzer log pane only allows you to select a single log entry. This is inconvenient because it means you have to delete log entries one at a time. For example, if you run a backtest on a basket of 100 instruments, you'd have 100 log entries. To delete these, you'd have to click on each one, then select the Remove option. The only other option is to delete all log entries or non-pinned log entries, but neither of these options cover all possible scenarios. For instance, to pin log entries, you have to pin them one at a time, which is also inconvenient.

    Therefore, I'd like to request the following features:

    1. Allow for selecting multiple log entries and performing an action, such as Remove or Pin, on the entire selection.

    2. Provide an option to Remove all filtered items. This would allow you to create a filter for the items you want to remove and then bulk-delete them. Alternatively, you could make it so the existing Remove All Non-Pinned option only applies to the current filter. Thus, if a filter is enabled, it would only remove the filtered items. If no filter is enabled, it would remove all items.

    3. Provide a visual indication that a filter is applied. Currently, the log pane looks the same whether or not a filter is applied, which can be confusing. The only way you can tell if a filter is applied is by opening the context menus and viewing each of the filter options to see which ones are enabled. I propose that you display a visual indicator in the log pane header to show which filters are currently applied.

    I have added a vote for you to a current feature request to allow multiple selection and better filtering for the Strategy Analyzer logs. This request is being tracked under the number SFT-3680.
