    connecting to ampfutures

Hello can someone please advise on connecting to ampfutures.

This is for myself and a colleague. For ninjatrader users that are grandfathered before the cutoff when ninjabrokerage was established ; what are the options to connect to AMP?
Can i connect with CQG / continuum - is there an adapter for this that is maintained ?

My colleague was using IQFeed for the data but now wants to look at broker data options with AMP and what is feasible.

    thanks

    Hello,

    Thanks for the post.

You may connect to your AMP account using the CQG adapter in NinjaTrader provided you have a license key that is enabled for this adapter.

The following link will take you to a page that details the steps required for creating a connection to CQG:
Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Why do the URL's on the forum lead to dead links?
Each time I click on one it come up with "page not found"
This is the link that the above section sends me to:

            Hello DavidHP,

            Thank you for your response.

We've made a lot of changes to our website since this thread was started, and the link that was posted here is no longer active on our website. If you qualify to use AMP with NinjaTrader, you would want to use the CQG connection type to connect. You can create the connection by using the following steps:
            • From the NinjaTrader Control Center window, select Connections
            • From the Connections drop down, select 'configure' in the lower right corner
            • Locate 'CQG' in the list of 'Available' connections and double left-click on it to add it to the 'Configured' section
            • On the right-hand side of the window, input your AMP username and password
            • Uncheck the 'Demo' option
            • Select Apply and OK
Once you've done the steps above, you will be able to connect to the connection.

If you do not see CQG in the list of Available connections, this would mean that your Account Plan or license is not enabled for that particular connection type. Only certain users would be able to have this type of connection enabled and you would need to contact our team via email to see if this would be available.

              Which OS?
              Which browser?

              Are you using Chrome?
              Have you tried with Edge?

On Chrome, yes, I see similar issue.
[On Firefox, I don't see this issue.]

              There is a workaround:
See the text 'guide.php' in the web address?
In the web address edit box, at top in Chrome,
delete every character after 'php', from the '?'
              to the end.

For some reason, the forum software and Chrome
combine to create this nasty bug of appending garbage
              characters after the embedded link.

In fact, hover over the link you wish to click on, I see
the Chrome showing me the appended garbage
characters in the link preview in the lower left.

[EDIT: Hmm, with more testing, after I cleaned out the
garbage characters, it's clear this is simply a case of
an true invalid link, the web help page has been moved.]
