    Drawing objects diappearing

    Hi,
Since installing 8..22.1 drawing objects on workspaces have disappeared on restarting NT8 . The workspaces were saved before closing. It occurs on charts that have changed instruments and others that don't change within the workspace.

    Hello derivtrader,

    Thank you for your post.

I'd like to take a look at your log and trace files to see if an error may be occurring with the drawing objects.

You can send these by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support.

Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

Please reference the following ticket number in the body of the email: 2597935 ATTN Kate W.

Thanks in advance; I look forward to assisting you further.

2020-06-08 13:47:41:104|3|4|Indicator '': Error on calling 'OnRender' method on bar 589: You are accessing an index with a value that is invalid since it is out-of-range. I.E. accessing a series [barsAgo] with a value of 5 when there are only 4 bars on the chart.

For the first two errors, you'll note that we don't see the indicator name. This means you've removed the chart label from the indicator that is hitting the error.

The next errors that show D2DERR_PUSH_POP_UNBALANCED would generally be NinjaScript based issues. We generally see this caused by improper code within OnRender in a chart object.

Unfortunately, it's not clear what object caused these errors. They could well be triggered by a drawing object, but we can't tell that for certain.

I would recommend trying with a new, blank workspace to test. Close all other workspaces if any are open but running in the background, then open a new chart with no indicators or custom bar types in your blank workspace. Draw a few drawing objects on the chart. Once complete, close NinjaTrader, saving the new blank workspace. Then, reopen NinjaTrader. It should reopen the new workspace. Do the drawing objects you drew still appear?

Do you see any errors in the log tab of the Center after restarting if the drawing objects do not appear?

Thanks in advance; I look forward to assisting you further.
