    How can I remove or hid a charts scale?

    Is there a way to remove or hide a charts scale?

    #2
    Hello Newtrader101,

    Thank you for your post.

    You may make the price axis transparent by right-clicking on the background of your chart, then left-clicking the Properties button. Go to Lines > Axis and change the color to transparent. You may also hide the price marker by right-clicking on your chart background, selecting 'Data Series', locating Visual > Price Marker and deselecting the 'Visible' property.

        One last question- How can I remove the space in the cart to make it flush with the edge?

          Hello Newtrader101,

          You may achieve this by editing the right side margin setting and the scale justification. To edit the right side margin;

          Right-click on the background of your chart and select 'Properties'
          Locate 'Right side margin'
          Change from it's current value to 0
          Select 'Apply' and 'OK'

          To adjust the scale justification setting;

          Right-click on your chart background and select 'Data Series'
          Locate 'Scale Justification'
          Change from it's current setting to 'Overlay'
          Select 'Apply' and 'OK'

          You may also want to look at the scale justification of any of your indicators from the 'Indicators' window.

            Thank you.
            It appears that the additional space in the margin is to accommodate for the price marker.

              I have the right side margin changed to 0, here is a short video- https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MaH...ew?usp=sharing
              This shows the margin on both the left and right. I hope to make my chart flush to the sides if possible.

                Hello Newtrader101,

                It looks like you may have missed a step in one of my prior messages. You'll need to hide the price marker. You may do so by;

                Right-clicking on your chart background
                Select Data Series
                Locate the 'Visual' section
                Expand the 'Price Marker' section
                Deselect 'Visible'
                Select 'Apply' and 'OK'

                  Ok- I have the price marker hidden, but still have a bout an inch and 1/2 margin.

                    Hello Newtrader101,

                    Please also check the settings of your indicators. It looks like one of your indicators has a price marker, and you may need to adjust the scale justification for that as well. You may access your indicators by right-clicking on your chart background and selecting 'Indicators'. Do this for each indicator, and each data series to eliminate those spaces.

                      Thank you.
                      To verify, can you create a new chart, change the scale to transparent and then have the instrument flush to the side of the chart?
                      I can not. Even when I create a new chart, and make the scale transparent, the space for the scale remains, regardless of any price marker.
                      Would you please verify that you can remove this space on your end?

                        Hello Newtrader101,

                        Thank you for your response.

                        Yes, I am able to eliminate the space on a new chart by removing the price marker, setting the right side margin to 0 and setting the scale justification to overlay.
