Weird connection API error...

    Weird connection API error...

    im conencted with IB in IB gateway, using the proper build , im logged in, followed directions properly. it says im logged into the gateway properly but NT wont catch it, any ideas whats going on?

    actually still having issues. itll connect for about 2 seconds, i see the account levels active in NT for a second or 2 then i get a connection error

      and then ill be able to connect, but no chart data comes in just stays here and does nothing

        its very weird i dont get it, why is there no chart data coming through now that im connected?? i changed the socket port back to 4001 and im can connect as the last pic shows, but 0 data coming in, charts are blank. please advise. cheers

          Could you please send the log and trace from your platform to look further into this inquiry.

          To send me your log and trace files from within NinjaTrader. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Email Support in NinjaTrader. Put '2614872 - Att Shawn', in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'. Also, give a reference of this thread in the body of the email.

                  everything is where it should be, it says im connected.... NO data, socket port is correct

                    Thank you for your note.

                    Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with "ATTN CHRIS S 2614872" in the subject line so I may investigate this matter further.
                    • Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
                    • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
                    • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
                    • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
