Continuous Contract Data

Hello, I am using kinetick data feed on NT 8. How do I know if I am getting continuous contract data?

The "continuous" designation in Nainjatrder would be ##-## so for example "ES ##-##" would should the continuous contract information for the ES.

I tried to compare M2K daily chart on NT8 with Tradenavigator. Should I configure something on NT8 to have the same data? The arrows pointing to the daily bar on Tradenavigator are different from M2K daily chart on NT8.

Thanks for your reply.

I suspect this is a function of your Trading Hours template, which will not plot data outside of the timeframes specified. Right click on the chart> Data Series> change the Trading Hours template to Default 24/7. This will display all available data on the chart.

Yes, that should display all available data on the chart. Another consideration is that "Daily" bars use ETH data for their values, and the data feed you are comparing to may be using RTH data. In this case, you can use a 1440 Minute chart which will show the RTH values instead. There may still be slight variances in the data due to the provider being different.

I made couple changes during weekend. I used 1440 mins for the chart. As the market is closed, why is the indicator such as RSI not plotted out for the bar close yet? Thanks

When the bars open and close would be determined by your Trading Hours template. The Indicator would need a bar close value to plot this. The Break at EOD setting would also force the bar to close at the end of the day based on this template as well. More information can be found below in our Help Guide article regarding this topic:
