No longer able to get 1 year minute intraday data from TD Ameritrade

    No longer able to get 1 year minute intraday data from TD Ameritrade

    I was previously able to get 1 year of 1 minute intraday data from TD Ameritrade. I looks like now the furthest back I can get to load is approximately 50 days of historical data. Has there been a change?

    Thank you for your post.

    Glad to assist. There has been a recent change to the API used for TD in NinjaTrader. It may be this is due to the change, I will report on our end to look into further and follow up with our findings. I also suggest reaching out to TD to see if more data can be added to the new API on the account-side.

    Could you please verify the version (Help > About) in use, and that data farther back is set to be requested (right click on the chart > Data Series > Days to Load).

      I am using the latest NinjaTrader 8.0.22.2. I set the data series days to to load to 365 days but I only seems to be loading around 50 days. I'll try contacting TD Ameritrade support and see if there is anything they can do on their end. It worked fine maybe a couple of weeks to a month ago it's hard to say when it stopped working.

        I am facing the exact same issue with the connection to TD Ameritrade. I am able to get bars (on 04-Jul-20) from 18-May-20 onwards. I am also using NT 8.0.22.2 (64-bit).

        jerblaster23 - were you able to resolve this issue with TD Ameritrade?

          I have the same issue and just get the runaround from support ... Who are you contacting at TD Ameritrade? ... I sent emails to API Support but never get a response...

              I sent multiple e-mails to: [email protected]. Never heard back from them. Not sure if there is a 'live' person on the other end or not.

                Same here but I have never received a response from them ... when I call TDA regarding NT support that is what they provide ... I have not found a live person to talk to at TDA
