1. Remove the "X" on the tab to delete the tab.
I have many times accidentally went to open a tab but the cursor must have been close enough to the X and the tab closed/deleted. Typically there are a lot drawings or other work on that tab that I have to redo, or quit and not save the workspace and restore the workspace.
There is a "close tab" option in the right click of the tab, so that function to close the tab is already there. It seems safer to have the right click option than the "X".
2. If you don't want to get rid of the "X" to close the tab then give us the option to "Restore the tab" if accidentally closed.
