Can I draw same SMA line on both candlestick and tick chart?

Hi,

I'm wondering if there is a way to show same SMA line on candlestick chart to tick chart?

For example, I use 200 SMA line on 15 minute chart and would like to see the same exact SMA line on 500 tick chart.
When I use the 200 SMA built in indicator on 500 tick chart, the line is drawn based on tick chart obviously...
therefore 200 sma on 15m candlestick chart is way different from 500 tick chart.

I am not sure if this is even possible with a basic sma indicator..

Thanks for your post.

In this case, you'll create a secondary data series for the indicator to follow on the tick chart based on 115 minutes rather than ticks, and apply the indicator to this data series, and then make the data series transparent. You can hide the secondary data series by setting its candle colors to transparent and setting it to panel 1 (otherwise you will have a blank panel unless you have other uses for it).

It's also a good idea to change the "Plot Executions" to "None" and "Scale Justification" to "Overlay" on the secondary series.

Thanks for your reply.

Here is a video going over this. I made the 500 Tick data series the transparent one and applied the SMA to it, but the proccess remains the same just do the same for the 15 minute data series, instead:
