    Error message when connecting

    When connecting I get this error message
    NinjaTrader Continuum: No description is available (Logon failed)

    Can anyone help?

    I get the same thing . . . see my post below. I have asked repeatedly that Ninja do the simple thing of posting on their site if the system is up or down . . . simply place a green or red light to inform us. Otherwise, we are likely to try to fix things on our end needlessly.

      I'm getting the same thing! I got on here to see if anything is being fixed. I have tried the repair feature from their site but it still isn't working.

        O so you think the site is down? I thought there was something wrong with my account.
        Can you guys help me with something else? I want to download Historical Data. Shoudl I be on the Playback Connection? Or which connection? I have tried different options but cant get futures instrument MES 09-20 to download

          Maybe the Historical Data issue is related to the Continuum issue ??

            Tania Davey-Smith You must be connected to the live data stream in order to download your MES data. Once that is downloaded, you disconnect from your live data (for me it is Philips Brokerage), and then select PLAYBACK CONNECTION. If you have never used it before, be aware that PLAYBACK can take a LONG time to load once you start trying to use it. I find Playback mode not very user friendly.

              Thank you for your note.

              Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with "ATTN CHRIS S 2669580" in the subject line so I may investigate this matter further.
              • Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
              • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
              • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
              • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

              I look forward to your reply.
