Linking a manual chart object to the primary data series in the chart

Hi,
I have three data series on a chart:
1) the first in data series list is my list 1m data of PINS (primary). All the chart indicators are based on this which is why I call it primary.
2) the second in data series list is my list 5m data of PINS. One of the chart indicators is based on this so that I can look at the long term trend. This is on the main chart but set to transparent.
3) the third data series list is my list 1m data of SPY. One of the chart indicators is based on this so that I can look at the market trend. This is also on the main chart but set to transparent.

Now the problem is that when I add a horizontal line on the chart, it seems to link to the last data series (1m SPY) in the list and I really want the link to link to data series 1) ... i.e. 1m PINS

Is this intended behaviour? How can I make the horizontal line always link to data series 1??

Hello,

Thank you for the post.

You may also adjust the input series for drawing objects on your chart.

To do so, double left-click on the line in question to open up its properties menu.

Within this menu you will see an option for 'Attach to' which allows you to select the appropriate data series.

After selecting the data series, click OK to save the changes.
