    Connect drawing to multiple charts but NOT ALL

    Hello,
    Is there a way to connect drawings to multiple charts but not all of them? I want my time based and also my tick & range based charts to have the same drawings but not to share them across time and tick based.

    Hello WeyldFalcon,

    Thanks for your post.

    Yes, you can create global draw objects that will apply to all charts of the same instrument.

    To prevent showing the global objects on a specific chart, you would need to right mouse click on the chart, and select the "data series". In the data series window locate and change the selection for "Show global draw objects". By unchecking the selection no global objects would be shown on that particular chart.

      This is close but not quite what I am looking for.
      let me give an example
      I have a Weekly, Daily, Hourly, 1 min chart that I want all drawings that I state to be across all of those
      then I also have a 2000 tick chart and a 2 range chart that I want to share drawings between
      these are all charts for the same instrument that I want to only share drawings between the two sets of charts.

        Hello WeyldFalcon,

        Thanks for your reply.

        The only other option would be to place the two sets of charts into two different workspaces and ensure that Tools>Options>General > "Global drawing objects across workspaces" remains unchecked. This would prevent global objects from being shown from one workspace to the next.

        There would not be another way to accomplish your goal of selectively choosing sets of charts for semi-global objects in the same workspace.

                  please add my vote as well, I would like for drawing objects to be applied selectively to whichever chart(s) I want within a workspace.
