Copy/pasting lines aren't at the same angle

Almost every time I copy and paste a line it is not at the same angle as the one I copied and have to spend time trying to make it parallel with the other. Why is this? Anyone have a fix? The same issue occurred on my vm of windows 7 and I wrote it off as a side effect of the vm but now I'm running it natively on windows 10

Thank you for the question.

When you are copy and pasting lines that involve a currently charting bar, it is a known behaviour if you are using a Multiple Instrument/Time frame chart or on a Single-Series Tick chart.

As the Multi-Series chart will have bars closing at different times, NinjaTrader may need to adjust the slots which in turn could change the Timestamp of the Anchor between copying the line and pasting it leading to the line not having the exact same slope. Also, as the Tick charts do not have a pre-determined close time like a time-based chart the slot may change visually as bars close leading to the lines not having the same slope as well.

Please try waiting for the bars to be done building before copying and pasting a line that correlates to the currently building bar.
