Problem with very low volume trades with FOREX

Hi,

I'm trying out trading with FOREX, so I set up my data using Ninjatrader's free data and used the strategy analyzer to test out a simple MA crossover strategy.

However when I did backtest the analyzer has only completed very small trades (invested small amounts of the money), as such the profits and losses are in cents rather than thousands (as you can see here: https://ibb.co/tLh3kpD)

Hello Stephen,

Thank you for your note.

The Sample MA Crossover uses the DefaultQuantity setting to enter an order. By default this is set to 1. However, Forex requires you to set the lot size as the quantity, so you would need to edit it to use Forex lot sizing for the entries and exits, or modify the Default Quantity when you backtest it.

Here's a screenshot of where you can change the Default Quantity setting without having to modify the code:
