NinjaTrader 8 with Interactive Broker API chart data couldn't load

I am using IB API to get the stock SPY chart data. It was good to show 1 Min, 5 Min, 10 Min charts.

But today, all charts showing "Loading" for half hour and still not done.

I have checked IB TWS showing the chart data. and API setting was correct.

Could you help me fix this issue? Thanks

As a preliminary test, please disconnect and reconnect to your Interactive Broker's connection within NinjaTrader. After reconnecting, does the data load?

If not, do you receive any error messages on screen or within the log tab of your Control Center?

Does this affect all instruments or only SPY?

I tried disconnect and reconnect to IB TWS, but all charts still showing "Loading...."

After 9:30 am, the charts was showing data. Not sure why. I will keep monitoring it.

The chart got loaded during the trading hours.

The chart couldn't be loaded before 9:30am. Now it is 21:00, the chart couldn't loaded again.

Did I missed some setting? so the API only working during the trading hours?

Thank you for your response.

This likely does not have to do with the time of day that you are trying to load the charts. Historical data requests through the Interactive Broker's API are quite limited. On the surface, these limitations manifest themselves as behavior very similar to what you are describing. Charts will load very slowly if a 'Pacing Violation' is hit by violating the restrictions that Interactive Broker's has put into place. Thank you for your post.

The supported version of TWS is currently 978.2c and the supported version of IB Gateway is also 978.2c as well.

Thanks Zachary. Could you post a link to the 978.2c download? I think 978.2g is what ib shows for download. Also, is there a place within NT where the latest compatible versions are put, so I don't have to ask every few months? Thanks!
