Playback Connection Error

    Playback Connection Error

    I'm trying to use the playback feature, but the following error message keeps popping up:

    Playback Connection: Error in opening connection Playback Connection, exception caught: String was not recognized as a valid DateTime. (Panic)

    How do I fix this error?

    Thank you for your post.

    So we can further diagnose your system, please start NinjaTrader in Safe Mode.
    Safe Mode will prevent NinjaTrader from:
    • Loading workspaces.
    • Connecting on start-up.
    • Loading custom assemblies.
    • Getting instrument updates from the server.
    To enable safe mode, please use the following steps:
    • Exit NinjaTrader.
    • Hold the CONTROL key and double click the NinjaTrader icon.
    • Keep the CONTROL key held down until you see the Control Center.
    • You can verify you are in safe mode by going to Help -> About.

    Please let us know if you continue to see the same behavior.

      Yes, after starting in safe mode the same error message has popped up.

        Could you please send the log and trace from your platform to look further into this inquiry.

        To send me your log and trace files from within NinjaTrader. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Email Support in NinjaTrader. Put '2739187 - Att Shawn', in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'. Also, give a reference of this thread in the body of the email.

            Hello

            Something similar to what RideMe says happens to me, I already started NinjaTrader 8 in safe mode and it shows me the same error. I don't know how to solve the problem.

              As this error could be caused by different issues, I'd like to take a look at your log & trace files as well.

              To send me your log and trace files from within NinjaTrader, please go to Control Center --> Help --> Email Support.

              Please list "ATTN Manfred 2739187" in the message itself, that way it will reach my inbox right away.
