Machine ID

Don't you need to register a new machine ID every time you load the platform anywhere? tech didn't mention that but I have entered the correct username and password on to my VPS and it doesn't work, please advise

Machine ID's are not used or required to login. To login to a new installation, simply enter the username and password for your account for the appropriate connection provider and ensure the conenction settings are also correct. Sorry but I have already done this several times and doesn't work, that's why asked the question about ID, everything is correct. Thanks for reply I have sent screen shots to online help so can end this chat now, thank you for your answer
