Unable to compile in Strategy Builder?

Hello, I am using the popular Price Action Swing Indicator from Futures.IO and it will not compile a simple buy/sell strategy in Strategy Builder, I see no errors in the log. I remember seeing a fix on this board? I have tried multiple times to upload the strategy but keep getting a image upload error when trying to upload an attachment also?

Thanks for your post.

You would not be able to use (compile) this particular 3rd party indicator in the Strategy Builder due to the way it is constructed.

You could construct your strategy in the strategy builder as you wish but do not compile it and instead unlock the code of the strategy and then work directly in Ninjascript to effect the changes needed to get the 3rd party indicator to compile.

The strategy finally compiled thanks to your tips. However, the HigherHigh or LowerLow values obtained by the strategy are printing (in an output window) always as 0.00. It's as if the PAS indicator when used in the strategy (per your recommendation) is not transmitting any values of those "Plots". Am I missing anything here. Thanks!

nirva31 that indicator is like a zigzag it only has the value for the 1 bar that created the plot, it does not retain the value going forward. Place on a chart and mouse over the new plot and you will see the value in the data box, but when you move off of the candle that created the plot you will see na. The Strategy Builder can only see what you see in the data box

To be clear we did not create the indicator and have no insight into its functionality.

It may be similar to how the Swing indicator functions in that the swing high or swing low points are not confirmed until some number of bars after the swing point.

I would suggest contacting the author of the indicator for assistance.
