Alerts on background

Hello,

I have a window open with several tabs and in each one I have a different product (S&P, Nasdaq, etc). I have "Alerts" placed on each product, but I only hear the alert sound for the chart I am viewing. How can I get the warning signals for all my charts to be heard, even though I am not currently viewing the chart?

When I test this on my end, I do hear the alert for a chart tab that is not displayed.

Can you please send me your log and trace files so I can investigate.

You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support

Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

I am also hitting this problem. I have several windows open, and one of them has multiple tabs. They all have the same indicators installed, and I use the MACrossBuilder to sound alerts and post to the alerts log on a cross of the moving averages.

The window with just one tab always sends the alert immediately, but the tabs sharing a window will only do so if they have focus. The non-focused tab will neither sound the alert nor post to the alerts log.

Can you troubleshoot this issue?
