Volumetric Shading

Hello,

In the documentation regarding what the shading is based on, this is what it says: "Maximum highlight in the bar - this shows the price(s) with the highest volume or delta in the bar"

The focus for my question here is on the "or". How can I toggle between this. To be precise how can I toggle between the shading being based on delta, versus the shading being based on volume at that price level?

Later on the page in the documentation it says: "The shading taking place in the bars will always be based on this delta value calculated".

This second quote makes me think that maybe it's not possible to toggle between the two as suggested in the first quote.

Can someone please clarify this?

In the data series, you'll find a property named "Chart style type". This is where you can toggle between bid/ask and delta display. In the same help guide section you're referring to, here is the definition for that property:

• Sets the chart style type used, possible values are : BidAsk or Delta
  
  BidAsk - allows you seeing the individual buy / sell volume cells inside the Volumetric bar, buy (ask) volume is shown on the right side, sell (bid) volume shown on the right side. Additionally this style can highlight the maximum and imbalance conditions.
  
  Delta - allows to see the single value total net delta per each price cell, maximum can be shown as well (no imbalance option for this style)

This toggles the value between net delta and bid x ask volume rather than affecting the shading.

Yes, and if we complete the thought of the first sentence you point out from the help guide with this in mind, it would read "...with the highest volume or delta in the bar (depending on your 'Chart style type' settings)".
