    According to the release notes for version 8.0.17.2 there is a new share service for texts. I just loaded v22.2 and the new share service is not avail...

    Hello Bidder,

    It is available to me in the latest version. It should be available for you as well. Could it be NinjaTrader was still running when installing the latest version?

    I suggest to perform an uninstall/reinstall of NinjaTrader and check if you have it available as well.

    You will save all settings and data including your indicators and strategies. All settings and data are located at Documents-->NinjaTrader 8 which is not deleted when you uninstall NinjaTrader in Windows.
    • Make sure NinjaTrader is shut down first.
    • Uninstall NinjaTrader 8 via Windows start menu-->Settings-->Apps.
    • Download and install NinjaTrader 8.0.22.2 from the link below.

    If the issue remains, please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files in an email so I may investigate this matter further.
    • Open Windows File Explorer (hotkey = Windows key + E) Then navigate to, "Documents" (sometimes called, "My Documents") > 'NinjaTrader 8' folder
    • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to "platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com".
    • Put "Att Jason, 2797623" in the subject field.
    • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

      Hi Jason, this is solved.

      After upgrading I was just restored a saved copy of my data folder from 8.0.17.2. The solution was to start with a clean folder from the v22 install and manually migrate all code & templates from v17. After that everything works normally.
