    Show/Hide Strategy Inputs Based on the Type of Instrument (Using a Type Converter)

    I'm using type converters to show or hide different input settings for a strategy I'm developing. Is there a way to access the type of instrument the strategy is being applied to inside of a type converter? If so then I could accomplish my goal.

    It looks like there isn't and that I won't be able to do this. But am I missing something? Is it possible?

    Hello John.Wehland, thanks for your post.

    I was able to get the Instrument.FullName property through my simple test:

    Code:
    [PropertyEditor("NinjaTrader.Gui.Tools.MultilineEditor")]
    public string DisplayText
    {
        get
        {
            return Instrument.FullName;
        }
    }
    Instrument.FullName is available at the time this code runs. It depends on exactly what your custom property is doing. If you are unable to get this to work, please share details on the custom property.

    Best regards.
