    Hello,

    Thank you for the post.

We do not offer any supported means to read/write to the NinjaTrader database, but you can find the information you are looking for within the platform itself.

If you go to Tools->Instruments from the Control Center, you will find a list of all instruments currently included in the database. If you double left-click on any instrument, this will open the Edit menu which will allow you to see the Trading Hours template default for that instrument.

You can learn more about using the Instruments window in the link below:

    https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...nstruments.htm

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

As Melissa says, there is no supported means of reading the sdf database,
but you may do so using a facility called "LINQpad" and the one you want
to download is "LINQpad 6". That will also automatically download any
additional drivers, etc. which are needed.

Instructions for doing so can be found here, and it has some screenshots as well:
      http://www.sokhawin.com/how-to-open-...io-or-linqpad/

      Download link URL is: https://www.linqpad.net/Download.aspx

You'll see that NinjaTrader designers wisely chose a compact or lightweight SQL
implementation, which originally rose out of Microsoft's original CE (consumer electronics?)
efforts to place a database on a small cellphone type of device.

Don't request support on this, and I'm sure formats are subject to change on any major upgrade
to NinjaTrader; but this could be something which might allow you (at your own risk) to edit
areas of the database; or to list out entries which may be of interest; and I'm pretty sure the C#
code to access it would not be difficult to work out either.

Hope this helps someone who needs an enhanced understanding of the great NinjaTrader 8 platform !!
